I've never done star trails or astrophotography of any sort. It was below freezing tonight and so this was shot through a dirty window. I used 10 frames of 30 seconds each and merged them in CS6 by changing the layer mode to lighter color for all but the bottom layer. I thought it worked reasonably well for a first attempt.
