The red is the changed route of the pipe. The original pipe was from the join on the left directly to the connection on the right, just past the outside shower hose. The hose more or less rested on top of the pipe, where the valve was. So it wasn't surprising that the vibration of the road and the movement of using the shower put too much pressure on the valve, breaking the connection. I like how they re-routed the pipes up, over and away from the hose.
